Inspired by what daishin has been doing recently, I want to try having an online meditation in addition to the Sunday sangha meeting. No Dharma talk, no conversation, just a half hour of zazen together.

The first one will be on Thursday, November 18, 6pm Scottish time. We’ll use Jitsi Meet, an open source and ethical application (no tracking or mining of user's data) that works across multiple platforms, and that doesn’t require you to have an account to use the service — just the app or a web link. Here is the link. Please turn your camera on, as this is about sitting together.

Here’s how we’ll do it: I’ll start the meditation period by ringing the inkin bell three times. We’ll sit together in silence, and I’ll end it by ringing the inkin once. Then we’ll bow with our hands in gassho, and that’s it.

All are welcome. If you have any questions, please email me.
